592 Vote Early as of Tuesday

A total of 592 people have cast ballots during the first ten days of early voting for the August 4 elections.
Fifty three voted in person on Tuesday.
That brings the ten day total to 555 who have voted in person, 27 by absentee, and 10 at the nursing home
The vote totals in each election are as follows:
Tennessee Democratic Primary: 224 (total)
Tennessee Republican Primary: 289 (total)
DeKalb County General Election Only: 79 (total)
Smithville Municipal Election: 230 plus 51 property rights voters for a total of 281
Dowelltown Municipal Election: 2
Liberty Municipal Election: 6
Early voting runs through July 30 on the first floor of the DeKalb County Courthouse. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until Noon. Five elections are set for August 4—the DeKalb County General Election, the Tennessee Republican and Democratic Primaries, and city elections in Smithville, Liberty and Dowelltown.
