95 year old Mollie “Mamie Cile” Lucille Self of Alexandria died Wednesday at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in DeKalb County, a retired cook for Metro Nashville Schools, and a member of the Linwood Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Danny Hunt, Cory Turner, Roger Grisham, and Walter George will officiate and burial will be in the Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Fitts and Susie McBride Fitts; her husbands, Denton Neal and Charlie Self. Four sisters and a brother also preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Annie and her husband Bratten Turner of Alexandria and Ina and her husband Foster Moore of Lebanon. A step-son, Robert and his wife Barbara Self of Smithville. A step-daughter, Irene Koesis of Tampa, Florida. Seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren. Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.
