87 year old Maude Jennings Barrett of Watertown, a homemaker, died Thursday at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Alexandria. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Javin Lawson and Charlie Lawson will officiate and burial will be in the Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Barrett; sons, Charles and Willie Barrett; parents, Jack and Mary Jennings; twin brother, Claude Jennings; sisters, Lizzie Tittle, Julie Tittle, and Nora Frances Lanier. Survivors include seven children, Harold and his wife Wilma Barrett of Watertown, James and his wife Sue Barrett of Woodbury, Mary and her husband Lawrence Phillips of Murfreesboro. Kenneth and his wife Sylvia Barrett of Christiana, Jeff Barrett of Smithville, Margaret and her husband Steve Smith of Gladeville, and Glenn and his wife Judy Barrett of Christiana. Twenty five grandchildren, thirteen step grandchilden, forty three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.
