97 year old Stella Elizabeth Smith of DeKalb County died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smithville Church of Christ. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Neal and Jodie Hastings Neal; her husband, Clarence Harvey Smith; a son, Robert Lee Smith; and a sister, Mable Hanson. Survivors include three grandchildren, Renee and Ben Ferguson of Smithville, Robin and Jim Smith of Texas, and Tracy Lee Smith of Texas. Three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
