Judy Oakley

64 year old Judy Oakley of Sparta died Friday at her residence. She was a homemaker. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Peeled Chestnut United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Tommy Davis and Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, O.M. and Covita Burrus Jackson and one son, Darrell Oakley. Survivors include her husband, Joe Oakley of Sparta. Two sons, Joe Derek Oakley of Smithville and Daren and his wife Tabitha Oakley of Sparta. Three grandchildren, Kristen, Mara Jade, and Tavia Oakley. An aunt, Polly Park of St. Claire, Shores, Michigan and an uncle, Luther Burrus of Memphis. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
