Gerald R. Leasure

80 year old Gerald R. Leasure of New Hope Road, Alexandria died Friday at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria. Eltis N. Brown will officiate and burial will be in Hillview Memorial Cemetery in Alexandria. The Leasure family will receive friends at Avant Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lucy Leasure of Alexandria. Their daughter, Jeri Ann Parker of Alexandria. His six children, Gerald Leasure, Jr. of Diamond, Ohio; Harold Leasure of Livingston, California; William Leasure of Orlando, Florida; Howard Leasure of Canton, Ohio; Margaret Jane Leasure of Smithville; and Dennis Leasure of Smithville. Her six children, Robert Wright of Hohenwald; John Wright of Smithville; Judy Wright of Hohenwald; Dave Wright of Hohenwald; Cheryl Campbell of Liberty; and Kenny Wright of Livingston. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother, Calvin Leasure of Ohio. Sisters, Juanita Garner of Virginia and Rosemary Prante of Ohio. Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
