92 year old Elsie Mai Tramel of Alexandria died Monday at her son’s residence in Lebanon. She was a DeKalb County native, a homemaker and a member of the West Main Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Donald Owens will officiate and burial will be in the Snow Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Elizabeth Mullican Vandagriff; her husband Roscoe Tramel; brothers and sisters, Frank, Sam, Clyde, Garlon, Glenn, Vadie, Thelma, Dean, Ala Ray, James, and Alene. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Peggy Tramel of Lebanon. Two grandchildren, Paul and his wife Kim Tramel of Lebanon and Stephanie and her husband Brad McKeehan of Johnson City. Five great grandchildren, Jillian, Karissa, and Hannah Tramel, and Colby and Carlie McKeehan. A sister, Robbie and her husband R.H. Bond of McMinnville. Two brothers, Bobby Vandagriff and Boyd Vandagriff both of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, and special caregiver, Debbie Brisco also survive. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
