72 year old Robert Louis Purdue, Jr. of Willisburg, Kentucky died Wednesday in Lexington, Kentucky. He was retired from Universal Fasteners in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosemont Baptist Church in Kentucky, where he was a member. Jerome Browne, Dick Wilkens, and Dr. Blake Shipp will officiate and burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joann Sims Purdue of Kentucky. Two sons, Reverend John Purdue of Smithville and Reverend Paul Purdue of Nashville. Four grandchildren also survive. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
