94 year old Carrie Inez Bass of Alexandria died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a nurse and a Methodist. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dowell Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Cora Bates Tubbs; her husband Rhome Bass; and a son, Charles David Bass. Survivors include a daughter, Billie McKinley of Carthage. Seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
