79 year old Eugene Beshears of Nashville died Thursday at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was a Baptist and a retired employee of Kroger. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Leonard Herman will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Void, Sr. and Ophia Waggoner Beshears; one son, Dennis Beshears; and a sister, Bobbie Murphy. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Beshears; a daughter, Wanda Taylor; three grandchildren, Jerry Taylor, April Young, and Daniel Beshears; three great grandchildren, Holdyn and Alana Beshears and Madison Young all of Nashville. Three brothers, Jimmie and wife Louise Beshears and Void, Jr. and wife Patricia Beshears of Smithville; and Don and wife Norma Beshears of Ashland City. Three nephews, Kenny, Shannon, and Barry Beshears. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
