Pamela Sue Smith

42 year old Pamela Sue Smith of Manchester died Sunday at Erlanger Medical Center. She was a factory worker and a member of West Main Baptist Church in Alexandria. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hillview Cemetery in Alexandria. Javon Lawson will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel at which time the body will be taken to the cemetery for the service. She was preceded in death by her father, Verlon Duncan. Survivors include four children, Amy Young of Manchester, Tiffany Hobbs of Gordonsville, Stephanie Hobbs of Alexandria, and Mitchell Hobbs of Manchester. Three grandchildren, Alexis Frazier, Aleeya Frazier, and Alyssa Frazier. Her mother, Betty Duncan of Manchester. A sister, Brenda Dove of Alaska and a nephew, Joshua Cantrell. The family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel, in lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
