Evelyn Wright Bogle

81 year old Evelyn Wright Bogle of Alexandria died Thursday at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born in Alexandria, the daughter of the late Bertha Bliss Mason and Edgar Stevens Wright. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Louise Wright, Ben Wright, Malcolm Wright, Doug Wright, James Howard Wright, Ruby Wright Barry, Mary Wright Sandlin, Phocion Wright, Jack Wright, Joe Wright, and Frances Wright Lawrence. She was married to William A. “Bill” Bogle, Jr. and he preceded her in death. She worked at Welsh Manufacturing Company in Gordonsville for seventeen years. She was a lifetime member of the Alexandria Church of Christ. Bogle is survived by a daughter, Karen Fite of Murfreesboro. Sons, Randy Bogle and his wife Beth of Riverwatch and Jeff Bogle and his wife Beverly of Franklin. Grandsons, Bill Melton and wife Melissa of Franklin; Craig Melton and wife Julie of Murfreesboro; and Jeffrey Bogle of Franklin. Granddaughters, Brooke Bogle Frost of Vidalia, Georgia and Bailey Bogle of Franklin. Seven great grandchildren survive. The body is at Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria where the funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Trey Helton will officiate and burial will follow in Hillview Memorial Cemetery in Alexandria. The Bogle family will receive friends at Avant Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the service at 2:00 p.m. Avant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
