71 year old Mabel Williams Gill of Smithville died Tuesday at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was a homemaker and a member of Covenant Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home. Jimbo Eddins will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Allie Williams and three brothers, Ray, Louie and Eugene Williams. She is survived by two brothers, JB & Ralph Williams both of Smithville and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made to Love Cantrell Funeral Home for funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
