Henry “Buddy” Alonzo Cox

72 year old Henry “Buddy” Alonzo Cox of Smithville died Sunday at his residence. He was retired from the Tennessee Mechanical Corporation and a member of the Whorton Springs Baptist Church. The family has chosen direct cremation. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 22nd at 4:00 p.m. at Whorton Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rose Harris Cox and a brother, James Lee Cox, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Louise Reid Cox. Two daughters, Darlene and husband Mark Brown of Georgia and Lisa and husband Ronald Lessard of North Carolina. A son, Jimmy and wife Vivian of Smyrna. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made to Whorton Springs Baptist Church or the Lighthouse Christian Camp.
