85 year old Eveleen Walls of Smithville died Tuesday at her residence. She was a retired machine operator and a member of Copeland Chapel Church. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Freddy Copeland will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillie Wilhoite; her husband, Jvan Walls; along with six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Don Poss of Smithville. Two grandchildren, Greg and Lisa Poss of Old Hickory and Jeff and Christine Poss of Nashville. Two great grandchildren, Libby and Abby Julian of Cookeville. One brother, Floyd Wilhoite of Alabama. Special nephew, John Richard Wilhoite of Alabama. Three sisters-in-law, Marie Walls, Betty Sandlin, and Earlene and husband Charles Olson all of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
