54 year old Jackie Wayne Bandy of McMinnville died Tuesday at his home. He was in the Tennessee Army National Guard, 278th ACR with 22 years of active service prior to retiring as Sergeant First Class. The funeral will be Friday at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home. Burial will be in the T.Y. Swafford Cemetery with full military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tennessee Army National Guard and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hebron and Frances Bandy. Survivors include his wife, Bridget Bandy and a daughter Chloe Emmaline Jane Bandy both of McMinnville. A son, Brian Bandy, and daughter Katrina and her husband Andy Collier of Alexandria. Grandchildren, Matthew, Brent, and Tiffany. Brothers, Danny Bandy of Smithville, Carl Bandy of Silver Point, and Jeff Bandy of McMinnville. A sister Kathy Jones of Georgia. Mother-in-law, Neva Bayless Swafford of Pikeville. Sister-in-law, Russell Anne Swafford Talley, and a brother-in-law, Jeff Talley of Dunlap. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers to a scholarship fund for Chloe Bandy established by the Tennessee Army National Guard at Regions Bank in McMinnville.
