81 year old Ezzie Lee Hutchings Hendrixson of Smithville died Saturday at NHC Healthcare Center. She was a Baptist, a homemaker, a gardener, and an oil painter. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Mike Carpenter and Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in Mount Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orby Lee Hutchings and Flora Hutchings Pruitt and five brothers. She is survived by her husband, T.J. Hendrixson of Smithville. A daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Hendrixson Culver and Robert Culver, Jr. of Michigan. Grandchildren, Rebecca Culver Meyn and Robert Culver, III both of Michigan. Great grandchild, Emma Grace Meyn of Michigan. An aunt, Ethel Waggoner. A niece, Barbara Easterwood, and a nephew, Billy Pruitt, Jr. The family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity, in lieu of flowers. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
