82 year old Mary Frances Dyer of Murfreesboro died Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. She was a member of the Bible Church of Jesus, a Sunday school teacher, and she served as a church secretary and did hospital visitation. The funeral will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. John Tipton, Johnny Turner, and Terry Chapman will officiate and burial will be in the Coleman Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Gaines and Mamie Cleo Walker; husband, Jim Cephas Dyer; a son, James Michael Dyer; Grandsons, Joshua Brian Haley and Eric Jones; son-in-law, Jerry Bain; brothers, Clifford Gaines, James Eugene and Billy Joe Walker; and sisters, Lonnie Gay and Lillie May Walker. Survivors include a son, Gary Lynn and wife Kathleen Dyer of Murfreesboro. Two daughters, Deborah Eileen Bain of Smithville and Joy Renee and husband Bill Griffith of Murfreesboro. Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and three very special friends, Martha White, Joyce White, and Marie Stacey.
