39 year old Marty Dean Lamb of Sparta died Tuesday at his residence. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta. Bobby Wilhite and Dwight Fuqua will officiate and burial will follow in the Rose Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday after 4:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Survivors include a daughter, Haily Lamb of Sparta. A son, Mitchell Lamb of Sparta. The mother of his children and wife of 15 years, Janet Lamb of Sparta. Parents, Robert and Debbie Lamb of Sparta. Sister, Becky Sims and her husband Brandon of Sparta. Niece, Alayna Sims of Sparta. Grandparents, Harvey Richard and Billie Jean Clouse of Sparta. Grandmother, Rosa Nell Carter of Sparta. Great grandmother, Bessie Bumbalough of Sparta. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins survive along with many friends. Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta is in charge of the arrangements.
