73 year old Helen Faye Foutch Russell of Columbia, Tn. died Friday at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Smithville, she was baptized on her twelth birthday and joined Mt. View Primitive Baptist Church. She spent her years doing what she loved most, taking care of her family, working in her garden, and standing side by side with her husband as his loving helpmate in the ministry. She also served her church for many years as church clerk. In addition, she was the president of the Mynders Homemakers Club. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Coy Brothers, R. Wayne Peters, and Ronald Lawrence will officiate with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ben Foutch and Dollie (Knowles) Foutch; a brother, Waylon Foutch. She is survived by her husband, Elder Lynn H. Russell; two sons, Timothy “Tim” L. and wife Patti Russell of Chattanooga, and Daniel “Dan” C. and wife Lisa Russell of Columbia, Tn.; a brother, Jim and wife Evelyn Foutch of Cane Ridge, Tn.; a sister, Barbara and husband Truman Stubblefield of Goodlettsville; two grandchildren, Josiah and Esther Russell, both of Columbia; two aunts, Gladys Knowles and Macon Judkins, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
