66 year old Larry Cobble of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a retired roofer and a member of the Emmanuel Bread of Life. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from noon until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Walker Cobble; wife, Rose Turner Cobble; a daughter, Angel Mae Cobble; and a brother, James Cobble. Survivors include his father, Emmit Cobble and two daughters, Keisha Farless and Amanda Cobble. Two grandchildren, Johnny and Montana Farless. A brother, Billy Cobble. Two sisters, Mary Smith and Kim McCowan. Three sisters-in-law, Ruby Parsley and Evalena Redmon all of Smithville, and Helen and husband Malcolm Turner of McMinnville. Brother-in-law, John and wife Reba Turner of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family has asked that donations please be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to help with burial expenses, in lieu of flowers.
