Betty Sue Mason

74 year old Betty Sue Mason of Smithville died Monday at the Park Ridge Medical Center. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Church of God. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Jason Nunley will officiate and burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Elliott Fisher Warren; a granddaughter, Stephanie Mason; and a great grandson, Colby Spencer Mason. Survivors include children, Shelia Lewis of Smithville, Terry and wife Barbara Mason, Michael and wife Sandra Mason, and Phillip Mason all of McMinnville. Special friend, Roger Young of Smithville and one brother, Jimmy and wife Jane Warren of McMinnville. Fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren survive. The family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel, in lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses.
