Braylen Michael Judkins, the ten week old son of Michael Andrew and Crystal Dawn Judkins of Smithville, died Monday at the emergency room of DeKalb Community Hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Joe Cox will officiate and burial will be in the Jaco-Judkins Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. The child was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Andrew Judkins. In addition to his parents, the child is survived by a brother, Andrew Thomas Judkins of Smithville. Four sisters, Sonya McMahon, Shelby Roberts, Taylor Roberts, and Andrea Judkins all of Smithville. Grandparents, Eva Lois Judkins of Smithville, Juanita Gardens,and Timothy Tindle both of Sparta, Thomas Gasper of Shelbyville, Indiana; special cousin, Megan Rice; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
