90 year old Eva Hendrixson Hill of Smithville died Tuesday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a Baptist and retired from the Smithville Shirt Factory. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with Dwayne Cornelius and Richard Felts officiating. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mai Hendrixson; step mother, Clara Hendrixson Randalls; a son, Donald Hill; and three brothers, Paul, Vernon, and Roy Hendrixson. She is survived by three children, Polly Hill, Faye Hill Hendrix, and Wayne and his wife Vivian Hill all of Smithville. Seven grandchildren, Debbie Hendrix, Dava and husband Russell Pedigo, Craig Hill, Terra and husband Tad Turner, Kyle Hill, and Tiffany Hendrixson all of Smithville, and Dustin and wife Tanetta Hendrix of Sparta. Nine great grandchildren, daugher-in-law, Brenda Hill Stewart and husband Danny. Sister-in-law, Grace Hendrixson of Dickson. Two sisters, Joyce and husband Jerry Spurlock and Barbara Arnold all of Smithville. One step-sister, Ruth and husband Jack Chidester of Davidson County.
