Mellisa Boren Lassiter

45 year old Mellisa Boren Lassiter of McMinnville died Monday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker. A graveside service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount View Cemetery in McMinnville. No visitation will be held at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, George Boren. Survivors include her children, Crystal Holland and Jonathan Cantrell of McMinnville. Grandchildren, Jasmine, Abigail, and Angel Holland, Jaiden and Isabella Cantrell; her mother, Judy Boren of McMinnville. Brothers, Marcus and Greg Boren and a sister, Susan Lehman. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
