54 year old Belinda Harriett Harness of Dowelltown died Sunday in Warren County. She was a former employee of NHC Healthcare Center. A memorial service will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the New Life Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cordell and Iva Rutherford Britt; a sister, Sandy Greer; and a brother, Gary Britt. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Harness of Dowelltown. Four children, Lisa Porterfield of Dowelltown, Tiffany Greer of Nashville, Jennifer Campos of Murfreesboro, and Trey Whitaker of Nashville. Five grandchildren, Elijah Porterfield of Dowelltown, Scottie and Jordan Blackwell of Sparta, Ellianna Campos of Murfreesboro. Two brothers, Cordell Jackson Britt, II of Smithville and Ricky Wayne Britt of Nashville. Several nieces and nephews survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to help with burial expenses.
