85 year old Audrey Dell Harris of Smithville died Friday night at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. She was a Baptist and a retired shirt factory worker. The funeral will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Mike Carpenter will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Columbus and Clara Colwell Young; husband, Wesley Harris; daughter, Jo Anna Arnold; and two brothers, Kelly and James Young. Survivors include two children, Danny and wife Kathy Young of Elizabethton and Janis Evans of Smithville. Four grandchildren, Rhonda and husband Tim Young, Chad Young, Emily Young, and Lindsay Young. One sister, Hazel Taylor Johnson of Smithville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
