76 year old Clarence Aubrey Taylor of LaVergne and a native of DeKalb County died Thursday. He was owner of Taylor’s Auto Repair in LaVergne. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Tommy Taylor will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, James Bernard and Clara Mae Young Taylor; a son, Randy Taylor; three sisters, Elizabeth Sandlin, Maureen Parsley, and Emma Lee Johnson; and five brothers, Robert, Charlie, Manuel, Ben, and E.J. Taylor. Survivors include daughters, Debra and husband Howard of Charlotte and Linda Biggs of Lebanon. A son, Larry and wife Mary Taylor of Nashville. Daughter-in-law, Diane Taylor of LaVergne. Seventeen grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren. Lifelong companion, Polly Taylor of LaVergne. Sister, Wilma Redmon of Smithville. Brother, Tommy and wife Geneva Taylor of Smithville.
