58 year old Terry Allen Barnes of Smithville died Monday at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was a plumber with Barnes Plumbing, a Baptist, and a veteran of U.S. Army. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Phil Tollett will officiate and burial will be in the Bonham Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. He was preceded In death by his mother, Dorotha Barnes; two brothers, Teddy and Tommy Barnes; and his grandparents. Survivors include his father, Jack Barnes of Smithville. A son, Richard and wife Kim Goodrich of Florida. A sister-in-law, Barbara Barnes of Smyrna. A niece, Karen and husband Charlie Ewing of Murfreesboro. Two nephews, Alex and wife Tracy Barnes of Smyrna and Joe and wife Angela Barnes of Murfreesboro. Four great nephews and two great nieces. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
