A memorial service for Steven Layne Vaughn, also known as Kasey Holiday, will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. He died October 23 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Vaughn was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a B.A. degree in theater. As an actor, Vaughn played several roles in Hollywood movies including “Three Men and a Little Lady”, “Bayou Ghost”, “Portrait in Red”, “Astarte”, and a character voice on the “Ren and Stimpy Show”. After living in Los Angeles for several years, he returned to Tennessee to reside at his home in the Liberty community. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Phillips Vaughn and his brother, Byron Vaughn. He is survived by his son, Corey; his father, Eugene Spencer Vaughn; a sister, Deborah Vaughn Smith; and a brother, David Vaughn. Donations in memory of Kasey Holiday or Steve Vaughn may be made to the World Parrot Trust. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
