88 year old Leone Taylor Caplinger of Smithville died Wednesday at the Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. She was a retired cafeteria worker at DeKalb Elementary School and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Caplinger; her parents, Horace and Mamie Robinson Taylor; and two brothers, John Henry and Ben Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Hayes of Cookeville. One grandchild, Joshua Hayes of Celina. One sister, Audrey Turner of Smithville and two nephews, Billy and Dan Turner of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
