91 year old Freda Rose Haynes Cantrell of Smithville passed away Friday night, Aug. 21st at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was a member of the Smithville 1st United Methodist Church & was former owner/operator of Bridgeway Motel. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015 at 11am at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Bro. Terry Litte will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8pm & Monday from 9am-10:45am. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sie Cantrell, parents-Charlie & Bonnie Hendrixson Haynes & Son- Ronnie Cantrell. Survivors include 1 Daughter- Linda & Freddy Colvert of Smithville. 1 Son- Rick & Martha Ann Cantrell of Murfreesboro. 7 Grandchildren- Norris Colvert, Gayla & Farron Hendrix, & Leah & Jeff Ingram of Smithville. Lindsay & Josh Decker, & Vince Cantrell of Murfreesboro. Clay Cantrell of Ohio. Hayley Cantrell of Mount Juliet. 8 Great Grandchildren-Ali, Abi, and Lee Hendrix, Kevin Colvert, Ethan & Eli Cantrell, Logan & Brynn Decker. 1 Sister-Ione Keith of Smithville.
