83 year old Helen Ofallon Malone of Alexandria, a garment factory worker, died Sunday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a DeKalb County native and a Baptist. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Leonard Herman will officiate and burial will be in Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Belvie Herman Hale; her husband, Hubert Bratten Malone; a son, Dwight Malone; a sister, Morene Scott; and brothers, James Hale and Kenneth Hale. Survivors include a grandson Bradley Malone, brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Scott of Cottontown, Inez Anderson, Willette Hale, Jack and his wife Aundra Hale, and Betty and her husband Charles Clayborn all of Alexandria. A sister-in-law, Frances Scott of Whitehouse and several nieces and nephews. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
