Joseph Oliver Harrison I

50 year old Joseph Oliver Harrison I of Smithville died Wednesday at Kindred Hospital in Nashville. He was an employee of Walmart of Smithville and a Baptist. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Jerry Byrd will officiate and burial will be in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Earl Harrison and Janet Ann Neff Harrison; and a sister, Carol Sneed. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Harrison. Three daughters, Lola and her husband Scott Rice, Leslie and her husband Timothy Hale and Jessica Harrison all of Smithville. Two sons, Joseph Harrison II and Luke Harrison both of Ohio. Three grandchildren, Vanessa Harrison, Patrick Rice, and Charisma Tinkham all of Smithville. Two brothers, Tom and his wife Cathy Harrison and Rob Harrison all of Indiana. Two sisters, Mary and her husband Wayne Everling and Ruth and her husband Tom Harris all of Indiana. His mother-in-law, Carolyn and her husband Bob Davis of Smithville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
