Three Teens Involved in Car Wreck

Three local teens were involved in a one car accident Saturday night on Jacobs Pillar Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol told WJLE that the driver of the car lost control in a curve on the rain slick road. The vehicle struck a culvert and flipped over on its side.
A female passenger of the car was taken by DeKalb EMS to the hospital in Cookeville. The other two occupants of the car, both males, were not injured.
Members of the DeKalb County Volunteer Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department were also on the scene.
