89 year old Alma Ruth Hildreth of Smithville died Wednesday June 8, 2011 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Oak Grove and a retired employee of Kingston Timer. A graveside service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Whorton Springs Cemetery. Michael Hale will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service Friday at 10:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozias D. and Evvie R. Patterson Mullican; her husband, George L. Hildreth; a daughter, Linda Hildreth; sisters, Dollie Watson and Katie Wood; brothers, Ozias D. Jr., Haskell, and George Mullican. Survivors include sons, Bill and his wife Clata Hildreth of McMinnville, Jerry and wife Shirley Hildreth of Smithville, and Tom Hildreth of McMinnville. Grandchildren, Bryan, Brad, and Lisa Hildreth, Erica Johnson, Shanna Freitag, and Galon Hildreth. Great grandchildren, Sumner, Parker, and Bryce Hildreth, Derek Swindell, Keain Hildreth, Rhealee and Rhylann Johnson, Quinn, Keaton, and Reagan Freitag. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
