70 year old Ann Dillon Trapp of Mount Juliet died Friday at Summit Medical Center at Hermitage. The body is at Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria where the service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Gordonsville Cemetery. The Trapp family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Trapp was born in Davidson County, the daughter of the late Gladis Benton and Fred Dillon Jones. She was a 1958 graduate of Mount Juliet High School. She worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Revene fand for 10 years with the John Deal Company. She was a member of the Cloyd’s Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended the West Main Baptist Church in Alexandria. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Spencer Trapp of Mount Juliet. A daughter, Elaine and her husband Mike Thomas of Alexandria. A son, Wade Trapp of Alexandria. Four grandchildren, Jesse Hawkins, Greg Thomas, Stephen Thomas, and Kyle Thomas. A sister, Dorothy and her husband Ernest Birdwell of Hendersonville. Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
