77 year old Ann Miller of Smithville died Thursday at her residence. She was a member of the Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from Kingston Timers. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Glenn Warren, Gary Hancock, and Reed Miller will officiate and burial will be in the Banks Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Callie Murphy Cook; her husband, Charles Miller; and a son, Steve Miller. Survivors include children, Judy and husband Lynn McGee of Smithville and Melissa and husband Michael Ferrell of Woodbury. Grandchildren, Hunter Grizzle and Fiance Rachel Seal of Woodbury, Tina Miller and Alisha Taylor of Smithville, Amanda Miller of Smithville, and Julie and husband Bradley Pugh of Smithville. Great grandchildren, Alyssa and Sarah Pugh of Smithville, Braden, Kiley, and Nate Martin of Smithville. Brothers, Gene and wife Dean Cook of Smithville, Doug and wife Janie Cook of Smithville, Eddie Cook, and Jim Cook of Smithville. Sisters, Rose and husband Calvin Davis of Smithville, Jo Dean Dutton of Gassaway, Bea Laperouse of Arizona, and Wilma and husband Bob Mykleby of Arizona. Sisters-in-law, Eva Joyce Wright of Nashville and Magdalene Keith of Murfreesboro. Brother-in-law, Marvis Krantz of Nashville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Ann. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
