90 year old Barney Lee Hale of Goodlettsville died Saturday. Hale was an auto dealer for many years in the area. He was also a member of the Hopewell Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Paul Ward will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery at 5:00 p.m.. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Rebecca Hale; a daughter, Linda Faye Hale; and a grandson, Eddie Dewayne Hale. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Swoner; a son, Claude Eugene Hale; a sisters Cora Agee and Claudine (Rheada) Malone; a brother, Lonnie Hendrix; grandchildren, Charles Raymond Swoner, Ronnie Hale, Darrell Junior Hale, and Annie Marie Hale; and four great grandchildren.
