83 year old Betty Jane Agee of the Wolf Creek Community died Saturday night at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville of an extended illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Creek Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Herb Leftwich will officiate and burial will be in the Mount Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie F. and Beuna F. Hale; her husband Earl Agee; and a brother, L.A. Starnes. Survivors include three children, Donnie and his wife Gloria Agee of Cookeville, Ralph Agee of Silver Point, and Susan Agee and her husband Edward Guerin of Silver Point. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sisters, Charlene Williams of Nashville and Falba Waddy of Portland. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made to the Wolf Creek Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Ms. Agee in lieu of flowers.
