62 year old Betty Jean Bogle died Tuesday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a factory worker and attended the Whorton Springs Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Banks Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hardie and Mae Eden Brewer; brothers, Roger Dale Brewer and Michael Ray Brewer; and a sister, Edna Norris. Survivors include children, Roger Stevens of Chattanooga, Samantha Hannah of Ringold, Georgia; Jerry Stanley of Cleveland; and Jeffery Bogle of Smithville. Nine grandchildren. Brothers, Hardy Brewer, Jr. of LaFayette, Randall Brewer of Fountain Run, Kentucky; Everette Brewer of Hendersonville, Ronald Dale Brewer of LaFayette, and Fred Brewer of Hendersonville. Sisters, Joyce Satterfield of Smithville, Patricia Sherrill of Hillsboro and Sandra Cunningham of Hartsville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
