92 year old Beulah Lee Joins of Smithville died Friday at NHC Healthcare Center. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. B.J. Thomason and Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Joins; parents, Herbert and Joanner Mullican Tramel; a daughter Yolinda Dunn; and a brother, W.J. Tramel. She is survived by a sister, Hallie Agee of Dowelltown. Three nieces, Glinda and her husband Clifford Randolph of Dowelltown, Regina Kent (Regina’s husband was the late Jerry Kent), and Brenda Tramel. Nephews, Roger and his wife Lynn Griffith, William Robert and his wife Brenda Joins all of Smithville, and Denny Joins of Alabama. Two sisters-in-law, Magdalene Joins of Alabama and Mary Frances Joins of Smithville. Great niece, Breanna and her husband Chris Hawkins and great nephews, Cody Randolph and Tyler Kent all of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks donations be made in lieu of flowers to Calvary Baptist Church.
