96 year old Bill Evins Hendrixson of McMinnville died Thursday of an extended illness. He was the retired owner of Hendrixson Trucking Company, Hendrixson Hatcheries, and a member of the Smithville First Baptist Church. He was also a past member of the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission under Governor Lamar Alexander. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 3:15 p.m. at High Funeral Home in McMinnville. Hendrixson was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe N. Hendrixson and Elsie Evins Hendrixson; his wife of 64 years, Josephine Davis Hendrixson; and two brothers, Sellars and Tolbert Hendrixson. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalyn and Earl Partin of McMinnville and Lizanne and Jim Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Ellen Hunter of Menlo Park, California, Will Partin of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Emily Partin of Nashville, and Samuel Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky. High Funeral Home in McMinnville is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials of sympathy may be made to the First United Methodist Church of McMinnville.
