83 year old Bill Tittsworth Davis of Michigan and a native of DeKalb County died Sunday at his residence. He was a retired mechanic and a U.S. Navy veteran. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate and entombment will be at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cantrell Davis; his parents, Everett and Allie Tittsworth Davis; brothers, John Gray, Frank, Jack, and Bob Davis; sisters, Frances Chinn and Ethel Mae Davis; and a niece, Brenda Davis Hines. He is survived by brothers, Jim and wife Lois Davis and George and wife Lenora Davis all of Smithville. A sister-in-law, Marsceen Davis of Smithville. A nephew, Tony Davis of Smithville. Nieces, Donna and Evette both of Michigan. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
