Billy Organ

Funeral services for 90 year old Billy Organ will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon. Kevin Medlin will officiate. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 11:00 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Organ died Thursday at Southern Manor.
Born in Wilson County, Organ is the son of the late Charlie S. and Ruby Clemmons Organ. He was a 1940 graduate of Lebanon High School and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a mechanic for Eastern Airlines.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Organ; brother, Wendell Organ, and a niece, Gayle L. King.
He is survived by a sister, Bessie L. Organ Atnip of Smithville; nephews, Charles D. And wife Betty Jo Atnip, John L. and wife Betty Jean Atnip all of Smithville, Richard and wife Carla King of Cookeville; niece, Phyllis and husband Ronnie Tramel of Smithville; several great nieces & nephews; special friend, Karen Krattinger of Lebanon.
