100 year old Bonnie Bessie Taylor of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Terry Fesler will officiate and burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Grant Taylor; her parents, Jordan Lee and Rachel Leone Walker Spencer; two sisters, Lola Self and Athel Hendrixson; two brothers, Halton and Herbert Spencer; and a great granddaughter, Rachel Underhill. Survivors include a daughter, Robbie Taylor of Dowelltown. Two grandchildren, Judy White of Lebanon and Mildred and her husband David Hembree of Cookeville. Two great grandchildren, Stacey and her husband Justin Watson of Lebanon and Ken and his wife Julie Underhill of Smithville. Six great great grandchildren, Ezra Watson, Carly Parkerson and Ashley Strickland of Lebanon and Zackery, Tyler, and Trace Underhill all of Smithville.
