Buddy Cleveland (Clevie) Petty age 53 of Smithville passed away Sunday night May 31, 2015 at DeKalb Community Hospital ER. He was born May 30, 1962 to his parents the late Grover Cleveland Petty and Martha Ann Tisdale. He worked in construction and attended Pomeroy Chapel Brethren In Christ. Funeral Services will be held 4:30PM Wednesday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jack Patterson officiating and burial in the Petty Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 12:PM until 8:PM and Wednesday 10:AM until time of service at 4:30PM. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Tawanna Petty and Tamara Petty both of Smithville; 3 Grandchildren : Brittney Petty, Tabitha Estes, Tyler Estes; Mother: Martha Ann Tisdale of Smithville; 2 Sisters: Sylvia Stanley of Smithville, Denise Garcia of Lebanon; 4 Brothers: Bennie Cantrell, Tony Petty, Homer Petty, Mark Petty all of Smithville. DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville is in charge of the arrangements.
