64 year old Larry Hale died Saturday at DeKalb Community Hospital. Born in Detroit Michigan, he was a resident of Short Mountain Road, Smithville. Hale was worked in maintenance at Federal-Mogul in Smithville and was a veteran of Vietnam having served in the Army and earning the Purple Heart. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Dennis Ellis, Nick Pelham, and Chad Hale will officiate. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. William Mitchell Mills and Nora Holt Mills and was preceded in death by 3 brothers. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific were he was awarded the Purple Heart. Mills was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Lebanon and a retired Inspector with the U.S. Dept. of Defense. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lee Capps Mills of Alexandria; daughter, Rebecca Ann McBride and husband, Russell of Lancaster, Ohio; son, David Lee Mills and wife, Janet of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Zachary McBride of Lancaster, Ohio, Laurel (Gary) Foreman of Mt.
