Mary Frances Prichard

93 year old Mary Frances Prichard, formerly of Watertown, died Sunday at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. She was born in DeKalb County and retired from Precision Rubber Products. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at West Main Baptist Church in Alexandria, where she was a member. Ben Simpson will officiate and burial will be in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.R. and Etta Vanatta Prichard and a brother, Earl Prichard. Survivors include a brother, Carl Prichard of Murfreesboro. Nieces and nephews, Nancy Beckwith of Murfreesboro, Thomas and wife Marlene Prichard of Alexandria, Charles and wife Brenda Prichard of Alexandria, Mike and wife Kaye Prichard of Alexandria, and Kayla and husband Chuck Youngquist of Lebanon. Ann Bowling

74 year old Ann Bowling of Smithville died Thursday night at Centennial Medical Center. She was a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Kingston Timers. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Mark Pafford and Leland Carden will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Bowling; parents, Ocie Oswald and Gladys Evelyn Evans Frogge; and brothers, Milton Luther, George, and Willard Frogge. Survivors include a daughter, Pam and her husband Jack Rhody of Smithville. A son, Milton Bowling of Nashville. Grandchildren, Courtney Rhody and Duston Scott, Weston Rhody, Zachary and Ashley Bowling. Great grandchild, Malachi Bowling. Special friend, Cherie Brown. Companion, Donny Lewis. James Edward “Curly” Cripps

85 year old James Edward “Curly” Cripps of Smithville died Wednesday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a retired maintenance supervisor at DeKalb Community Hospital, a World War II Veteran, and an avid baseball fan and softball coach. Cripps was also a member of the Bright Hill Methodist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Ernie Dawson and Chad Kirby will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Cripps was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Rosco, Sr. and Potter Laren Taylor Cripps; his wife, Chloa Parsley Cripps; a daughter, Donna Kay Cripps Williams; and a brother, Jerry Cripps. Survivors include three grandchildren, Gina and husband Josh Satterfield, Jayme and husband Nathan Dowell all of Smithville, and Justin Matthew Cripps of Cassville. Two brothers, Johnny and wife Shirley Cripps and Gene Cripps all of Smithville. Three sisters, Jeanette and husband David Glen Dodson of Smithville, Judy and husband M.B. Silcox of Smithville, and Brenda and husband John Arledge of Centertown. Four great grandchildren, Destry and Laradon Wiggins and Izayah and Kylynn Dowell all of Smithville. Betty Ruth Fish Moore

77 year old Betty Ruth Fish Moore, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native died Sunday at her residence following an extended illness. A retired captain of security at Carrier Corporation and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Wiley and Ceva Raymond Fish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Moore. She is survived by her husband, Harold W. Moore of McMinnville. Four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Linda Moore of Manchester and Gary and Deidre Moore, Jimmy and Cathy Moore and Don and Doris Moore all of McMinnville A daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jim Rifenbark of McMinnville. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Wilma Fish of McMinnville and Charles and Barbara Fish of Smithville. 69 year old Trudie Frances Hayes of McMinnville died Saturday at River Park Hospital. Born in DeKalb County, she was a retired nursery sales representative with Hans-Nelson & Sons Nursery, the owner of Hayes Enterprises, and a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. David McMinn will officiate with burial at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Solon and Gertie Pedigo Parsley and a daughter Cuma Jane Hayes. 50 year old Donnie Lane Driver of Smithville died Saturday at his residence. He was disabled and a member of the Snow Hill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Mike Clayborn and Junior Hibdon will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Driver and a brother, Jeloy Driver. Survivors include his mother, Clara Sandlin Driver of Smithville. A brother, Rodney and his wife Rosa Driver of McMinnville. A nephew, Bo Gregory Driver of Alabama. Ms. Jessie Dean Martin

56 year old Ms. Jessie Dean Martin of McMinnville died Wednesday at her residence of an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Jessie D. and Annie B. (Bouldin) Roberts. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James (Mack) Roberts and a sister, Betty Ruth Martin. She worked in the food industry and was a member of the Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville. Terry Pease will officiate and burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in McMinnville. Elmer Lewis Young

77 year old Elmer Lewis Young of McMinnville died Thursday at his residence. He was born in DeKalb County, was the retired manager of Warren Farmers Co-Op where he was employed for 37 years, was an ordained The Baptist Minister, and a member of Newtown The Baptist Church. Mr. Young was preceded in death by parents Shelie and Effie Poss Young, granddaughter Jennifer Ayers, sisters Mary Lou Griffin and Cleo Barnes, and a brother Clarence Young.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Janey Poss Young, their children Debbie and Buford Ayers, Mike and Shelia Young, and Trent and Shelli Young, brothers Jay and Evelyn Young, Elmus and Betty Young, and Dean and Gloria Young all of McMinnville, and Dillard and Billie Young of Arkansas, sister Clessie and Don Goodnight of Indiana, grandchildren Bryan Ayers, Christy Ayers Roller and Victor, Brad Ayers, Chad Young and Tara, Misty Forth, Sarah, Kayla, and Lucas Young, and great-grandchildren Condy and Ellie Kate Ayers, Haley and Kacie Newby, Jessica and Victor Roller, Jr., Jessica and Ali Young, and Breanna and Ashton Forth.

Margaret Louise Chisam

75 year old Margaret Louise Chisam of McMinnville died Wednesday at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. Born in Warren County, she was a retired employee of A.O. Smith, and she attended Arlington Church of Christ. Mrs. Chisam was preceded in death by parents Johnnie Eldon and Bessie Walker Holt, first husband Thomas (Tom) Jerrel Higgins, Sr., a brother Bobby Jewell Holt, and a sister Barbara Joyce Holt.
Survivors include her husband John Thomas (J. T.) Chisam, daughters Vicki Higgins Cantrell and husband John of McMinnville and Gina Diane Higgins Bain and husband Cleveland of Smithville, a son Thomas Jerrel Higgins, Jr. and fiancé Tammy Foutch, of McMinnville, sisters Sara Jean Cantrell and husband Doug of Smithville, and Nancy Faye Womack and husband Terry of McMinnville, and a brother John Thomas Holt and wife Betty of McMinnville. Four step children, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.. Richard Bowman and Bobby Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
