49 year old Diane George Mooneyham of Smithville died Saturday at her residence. The family has chosen direct cremation. A graveside service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Adcock Cemetery. Joseph Hamid will officiate. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry George and her grandparents; an uncle, Jimmy Martin, and aunt and uncle, Carl and Betty Cantrell. Survivors include her children, Erika Mooneyham of Murfreesboro and Paula and her husband Steve Ross of Smithville. Parents, Tommy and Dorothy Martin George. Helen Faye Foutch Russell

73 year old Helen Faye Foutch Russell of Columbia, Tn. died Friday at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Smithville, she was baptized on her twelth birthday and joined Mt. View Primitive Baptist Church. She spent her years doing what she loved most, taking care of her family, working in her garden, and standing side by side with her husband as his loving helpmate in the ministry. She also served her church for many years as church clerk. In addition, she was the president of the Mynders Homemakers Club. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Coy Brothers, R. Wayne Peters, and Ronald Lawrence will officiate with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ben Foutch and Dollie (Knowles) Foutch; a brother, Waylon Foutch. She is survived by her husband, Elder Lynn H. Russell; two sons, Timothy “Tim” L. and wife Patti Russell of Chattanooga, and Daniel “Dan” C. and wife Lisa Russell of Columbia, Tn.; a brother, Jim and wife Evelyn Foutch of Cane Ridge, Tn.; a sister, Barbara and husband Truman Stubblefield of Goodlettsville; two grandchildren, Josiah and Esther Russell, both of Columbia; two aunts, Gladys Knowles and Macon Judkins, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. 94 year old Barbee C. Spencer of Smithville died Thursday at NHC in Smithville. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Elmer and Altie Page Close; her husband, Willie Jewell Spencer; brothers, Ed Close and Hoyte Close, and sisters, Brownie DE-Malia and Opal Cantrell. She is survived by a daughter, Bobbie S. and husband Jimmy Ervin of Smithville. Hillard Odene Lawrence

88 year old Hillard Odene Lawrence of Watertown died Tuesday at Summit Medical Center. Born in DeKalb County, he was retired from Kraft Foods and TRW Ross Gear. Lawrence was a member of the Shop Springs Baptist Church, a graduate of Liberty High School, a U.S. Army World War II veteran, and a 50 year member of the Comer Lodge #417 F&AM. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Carl Price and David Briscoe will officiate and burial will be in the Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Thursday. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leslie and Mary Yates Lawrence. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Granstaff Lawrence of Watertown. Sons, Hugh Mathis and wife Linda Lawrence of Smithville and Steven Hill and wife Carol Lawrence of Chicago, Illinois. Jack Sadler Odom

79 year old Jack Sadler Odom of Sierra Vista, Arizona died Saturday March 26th at the Sierra Vista Regional Hospital. Odom was born March 3, 1932 in Liberty to his parents, Oval L. and Monice Sadler Odom. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Odom Jennings. Jack retired from Ford Glass in Nashville working as a glass inspector. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rebecca Ramsey Odom of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sons, Jason Ramsey Odom and David Hugh Odom both of Nashville. A graveside service and interment will be held Friday, April 1st at
1:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in Liberty. There will no visitation held at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 1:00 p.m. for the service. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the

88 year old Helen Elizabeth Maxwell Carter of Lumberton, North Carolina died Saturday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in North Carolina. She was retired from the Smithville shirt factory and a Baptist. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Tommy Taylor and B.J. Thompson will officiate and burial will be in the Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Willie Reasonover Brown; two husbands, Toy L. Maxwell and Robert Carter; a brother, Walton Brown; and a step-daughter, Helen Putty. 85 year old Willis Edward Page of Alexandria died Saturday at DeKalb Community Hospital. Born in DeKalb County, Page was a farmer, a Methodist, and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Javin Lawson and David Lawson will officiate and burial will be in Hillview Cemetery. 83 year old Roy Lee Crook of Alexandria died Friday at UMC Hospital in Lebanon. He worked in the shipping department for Cargill Steel. Crook was born in DeKalb County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Coopers Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Darrell and Bertie Mae Wilson Webb. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; life partner, Doug Boyd; and a brother, Donnie Webb. 89 year old Reba Irene Delong Melton of Dowelltown died Sunday at NHC Healthcare Center. She was a Baptist and a factory worker.
